Pecan Crescents

2 sticks butter, softened
6 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 cups flour
powdered sugar

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
  • Cream the butter and sugar.
  • Add the remaining ingredients.
  • Shape dough into crescents, put on ungreased baking sheet. 
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes.  
  • Remove from oven and let them cool on the sheet for a couple of minutes.
  • After the cookies have sat for about 5 minutes, roll them in powdered sugar.
